Giovanni is now 6 months old! Still can't believe it, but it is true. And what a happy, happy baby he is. He really is such a sweet heart. Everywhere we go he just smiles at everyone. This last month, his personality has really started to come out. He is our little professor, taking in the world and the exploring anything in arms reach. He loves to play on the floor. He scoots with his modified army crawl, all around the room. He loves toys, but give him anything that is crinkly and he is in heaven. Who really needs baby toys anyway? ;)
He grunts all the time. It's so funny to hear him. Everyone thinks he's pooping, but nope that is just him when he gets excited or sees something he wants. Ha. Maybe he'll be our little football player. :) He has gotten so long the last couple of weeks. I definitely could tell he was in a growth spurt. Even so, he still wears 3-6 months clothes and size 2 diapers. I imagine he will be in them for a while longer. He's back to sleeping great. I think a lot of it had to do with teething. Which by the way, we can see his two little bottom teeth about to poke through. Any day now. He's not showing any other signs or discomfort with them so, hopefully the worst is over.
He also is crazy about his brother. The last month they have become the best of buddies. I think now that he moves around and plays, Dominic is more interactive with him. Dominic gets him belly laughing all the time and he also taught him how to shake his head. Super adorable. Giovanni is just glued to him and his toys. That pretty much starts ww3. I gotta feeling I'll be saying, "we got to share," a lot over the next few years.
- Shakes his head no
- Sleeps in his crib
- Holds a bottle!
- He found his "parts." Oh the fun we experience each and every diaper change!

Again, being away from mommy
We've officially been breastfeeding exclusively for 6 months!! And an even bigger accomplishment, he will now take a bottle! Yep, our little monkey, will not just take a bottle from me, but also my husband and will even hold one himself. Huge accomplishment! So glad I never gave up. I almost see a true date night in our future! ; ) We started him on cereal, but I'm thinking we will soon start on oatmeal and some orange veggies soon.
Now for his monthly tie pictures:
That lion sure is getting smaller! ;)
