Wordless Wednesdays- Oh the hearbreak!

This is the look of a heartbroken 2 year old.
You see, there is only 1 rule with a Christmas Elf that you must never ever break. You can't touch them. If you do, they loose their magic and won't be able to fly home. (The cartoon, the Elf on the Shelf, really helps teach young kids this.) And poor Dominic thought he had broken it.

He woke up and found Charlie, in his chair and reading his Toy story book. In excitement, he grabbed the book, then immediately realized what he did. He collapsed and burst into tears. It took a while to calm him down. We had to explain to him that it's okay, that he didn't touch Charlie, so he was okay, but not to grab the book again for today. He truly believes!

  4. I've never heard of Elf on a Shelf before, but I'm hearing about it all the time this year! Sounds like fun - so long you don't touch it!
